I scored this yesterday at a shop in the middle of nowhere. I don't nornally buy stoneware. In fact this is my first. But my family had ties to the Amherst area and it was in such a obscure place I couldn't pass it buy. Feedback is really appreciated because I really know nothing about it.

Thanks!
Is there anything I should be looking for when I come across stoneware? I've never paid it much attention but I always come across so much of it. I guess my lack of knowledge keeps me from wanting to part with good money
