Okay, I have a picture of the bottles I'm getting tomorrow. I hope this is the right date range for them. Anyway, this is the best picture I have and I'm going nuts waiting. I can't help it. Can you guys tell what they say or recognize them? I just want to know what they say and it is driving me nuts! Can you tell me anything about these two before I get them tomorrow? I'll update the photos then, but for now... can someone help me so I stop trying to figure out what they say?

They are definitely free! There is a green pill bottle I'm sure isn't worth anything, but I want to put it with the blue one that my daughter and I dug up together! There are a few others that were in the picture, but I cropped it to post because you couldn't see anything other than the shape and the picture was too big to post. There are 8 bottles and what looks like it might be a glass lid of some sort. There is a small amber one, the green pill bottle, and the rest are clear. I can't wait to post better pictures.

Yo pinx,

Your flash overpowers the image. What I can tell you, is that they are both post-Prohibition to 1964ish liquor flasks, from the "Federal Law Forbids" language.

If you like them, go ahead, and buy them, as long as they aren't more than a dollar or 2 at the most. Screw top, mid 20th Century, mass produced liquor bottles have not quite arrived as collectibles, yet.

Does the amber one have an "M" or an "AA" logo? If the latter, it's an Ancient Agewhiskey.

Thats a Gilbey's Gin, I always liked the script on their bottles. The frosted ones are neat. Have fun!
