Hello, everybody,
I have been putting quite a bit of thought into this, which should explain all the unnecessary complications in the rules of this contest for which I apologize profusely.. however there is one more alteration I need to make and I swear that's the last one!! sorry, sorry..
Forum member T D has obviously blown away any competition and he wins hans down.. I am sending him a first place prize from my own collection I hope he will like. ..[:)] Tom, do you still live at 1313 Mockingbird Lane? If you moved, PM me your new address..!
In the upcoming short term I will post another new thread where we will use the POLL function to determine the 2nd place pic... so be on the lookout for that.. congrats to T D that Chero pic is A+++++++++

Let's hear it for T D!

One of the best bottle photos I've seen here, or anywhere. Perfect melding of colors and atmospherics. Bravo!

Thanks to everyone's super compliments! Other than digging bottles, photographing them is one of my real enjoyments. The night I first saw the competition in the thread I decided I would photograph 5 cool colors from my Chero Cola collection. I boxed up the 5 bottles that night and the next morning I went out to a really nice spot out on the edge of town. I took a 2x4 from the back of my pickup and laid it on top of two fence posts. It was just daybreak and I started snapping pics. This one was an earlier one before the sun made the horizon. The earlier sunlight showed the glass color better. The lucky part for me was the fog. It had rained hard that night and this was the fog low on the ground that made for a great picture. There were some REALLY COOL pictures from others with some awesome GLASS! Glad my lil' ole lowly Cheros were a hit. Thanks again everyone!

Brandon, the pink bottle is a light amethyst to medium amethyst color.

For info sakes- L to R. Columbus, Ga., Dalton, Ga., Dawson, Ga., Thomson, Ga., and Moultrie, Ga.
