My strategy is to do as much as I can using free sources... My tree extends almost into the 18th century without me spending a dime... When I feel I've exhausted that route and I have a plan of attack, I'll go for the two week free trial... If I still have more to do, I'll pay by the month... As I look at what's available, at least for the Nordic countries, on ancestry.com, it doesn't seem worth the extra $ to go worldwide except by the month as needed...
Glad you guys had fun and success with it! I know I'm having a blast... course, I have the advantage of plenty of time to spend on it...
