Poison Bottle

I guess i posted in wrong area for the bottle i had. The bottle has VAPO-CRESOLENE CO. on one side and PATDUSJUL1794ENGJUL2394 on the other side. It has littles glass points on it. I was told it was a poison bottle. I was wondering what year it was made. Thanks Cindi

i believe the patent # says usjul1794. that would be united states july 17 1894 , i think. the contents were poison .
