Hi Penn, yes we got snow and cold. It's a gamble pulling out the bottles from about 7' down because of sudden temp change. I lost a very crude Shilo's Cure because I guess I didn't get it wrapped up fast enough. Thanks for looking, Randy

I always try to start the New Year off with a dive, so far 17 years a tradition. We have had some real bad weather out here so I chose a brackish water area. I had terrible visibility 2' with a light. the water temp was 34 degree with a fast current. I was in for about 30 min before my reg started to free flow. Dive over. The 1st and 2nd stages tend to freeze up in the dead of winter. I did find a nice ballast bottle and a pontil davis vegetable. Im on the hunt for a regulator that will give me less problems in the severe coldwater.

Nice bottles, I am impressed by the conditions you dive in. At that temp with that viz and in a current to boot is not for the faint of heart. I know you said before you dive dry. Do you use a full face mask?
