Rainforest outing?

It's been a couple of weeks since we've had a chance to dig...The long range forecast has been showing lots of rain, Including today and yesterday but Fred and I decided to go for a dig anyhow...We went and checked out an alleged farm dump we had heard about, but the directions were pretty vague and there were a lot of posted signs,...so we decided to go to our old stand by dump, (which usually yeilds very little), up in the hills above our neck of the woods...The creeks were really flowing and everything was a muddy mess, but we sure had a good time!,...and we even found a few bottles.[] Here's a few pics.

This spot we were at today was where I first discovered bottles during the early 70's...We (and a lot of other people) have been digging it since then...The creek leads from where we parked, then forks and each branch leads to a seperate dump...The one we dug today is about an eigth of a mile up above the other...This is heading up the creek towards the dumps...there is a lot of interesting bits in the creek.

Once in awhile if you're watchful, you can find a bottle washed down the creek from upstream...To much flow for that today...

Wondered where that wheel came from?[] (I noticed it's grown right into the tree.)

There are multiple waterfalls throughout the dump....

Fred hit first with a local applied crown brewery...."Bradford Brewing" in a slug plate...It also has almost a rounded bottom.

After I worked the bank near the upper falls without much luck, I worked back down to where Fred was..."Finding any good ones?" I said,...He hands me this one and says "Put it in your pocket"! Needless to say I was pretty happy[]....Nice little poison. Class act, Fred is.
