I finally found another place to dig last year, but was only able to dig a couple of times due to the hot weather. I went back this week, and took pictures of the dump.
This dump is about 3-4 feet deep with a dirt over hang of about 6 feet. Its in the hill side of a creek. Its kind of strange, because you can find BIM bottles 3 feet above machine made bottles.
Here is one of two wagon wheels that I had to dig up to get out of the way. There is alot of metal in this dump; which helps some of the bigger bottles from breaking.
Hey Dale! I called ya one day this week, but did not get ya. I will try again today. I am glad you found a good dump to dig. They are getting harder to find here everyday. Talk to you soon.
Here is a picture of the bottles I took home and cleaned up. Most are just junk, but I keep them to sell a flea markets and arrow head shows for a dollar or two a piece.
This is a West End Dairy and Phone 186. It has a cow head embossed in the center. Its a quarter pt. cream bottle. Unfortunately its cracked, but I still kept it.
