LAST SUNDAY ONE 18 WHEELER AND TWO TWO TON TRUCKS CAME FROM ATLANTA TO LITTLE OLE CEDARTOWN GA. ]OUR COTTONS MILLS WERE TAKEN AWAY BY RONALD REAGEN AND HIS DEALS WITH JAPAN TO MOVE OUR TEXTILE MILLS OVER THERE!A FACTORY JOB WAS EASY TO GET A FACTORY BEFORE THE 80S! NO MORE THEY ARE ALL BUT GONE!] THE FOOD WAS BROUGHT BY A ORGANIZATION IN ATL. TO HELP GET FOOD TO PEOPLE!

RAGGED PEOPLE WERE LINED UP FOR BLOCKS TO TRY TO GET SOME FOOD! IT WAS REPORTED THAT ONE FAMILY ONLY HAD ONLY SODA CRACKERS TO FEED THEIR KIDS FOR A WEEK! 7000 PEOPLE GOT FOOD! SOME COMING ALL THE WAY FROM BIRMINGHAM ALA! FOOD STAMPS ARE BEING CUT BACK AS A WAY TO TRIM THE BUGET. YEP IT IS ALWAYS THINGS FOR THE POOR THAT IS CUT BACK. WITH REAGEN IT WAS MENTAL HEALTH,KETCHUP HE SAID WAS A VEGEATABLE AND COULD COUNT AS SUCH FOR SCHOOL KIDS MEALS![WHAT A SORRY PRICK HE WAS!]

CUT BACK THE CONGRESS PAY AND THE PRESIDENT/VICE PRESIDENT,MAKE CORPORATIONS HELP,CUT OUT BONUSES FOR OVER PAID CEOS,TAX THE HELL OUT OF PEOPLE LIKE BILL GATES. WHERE THE HELL DOES ALL THE LOTTO MONEY GO? ZELL MILLER SAID IF WE GOT IT HERE IS GA. SCHOOLS WOULD NEVER NEED WORRY AGAIN. BULLCRAP,KIDS ARE CONSTANTLY HAVING TO SELL CANDY OR SOMETHING! THE RICH,CORPORATIONS,ETC. DON'T HAVE TO DO A THING ,BECAUSE THEY HAVE THE MIDDLE/LOWER MIDDLE CLASS DOING THE TALKING AND WORK FOR THEM TO KEEP THE STATUS QUO! THESE PEOPLE BETTER KEEP THE TEA BAGS THEY WEAR CAUSE THAT MAY BE ALL THE NUTRITION THEY WILL HAVE SOON! I AIN'T TALKING THE ALFUL WORDS {COMMUNISM,SOCIALISM,ISM,ISM] I AM TALKING ABOUT COMMPASION! Our government is hopelessly corrupted on every level and we are like frogs in a frying pan.

Politicians who accepted "gifts" from foreign countries and sent our jobs out of the country
killed the golden goose. Without good paying factory jobs there would be no tax dollars to
line their pockets. Even worse, they would have to pay massive unemployment benefits.
It was on the local news yesterday that several elected officials in Illinois which is on the
other side of the river from me have been evicted from their offices for not paying rent.
The last factories lefthere are closing down and laying off hundreds.

I think those that created this situation have no clue how to fix it. Well to do people who
push paper and live off the sweat of others don't want to pay more taxes. They are the
human debris that voted them in. If you don't tax the rich and say, now they will invest
and create jobs, you would be right - but the jobs will be in Mexico. Obama has his work
cut out for him. I noticed he cut a deal to keep prescription drug companies in the US
and is attempting to place tariffs on Chinese tires (probably made out of lead and asbestos)
much to the outrage of the Chinese. We must re-develop a tax base and jobs at Hardee's
and Walmart are not going to cut it.

Don't trust the stock market returns we are seeing today. Wall Street is trying hard to keep this propped up falsely. As long as unemployment remains around 9-10%, consumers are going to have a hard time contributing to GDP. The same thing was happening after the fall of 1929. It looked like they were going to pull out it initially but went for a freefall.

A lot of the stock market activity taking place is from speculators who think it can't get any worse so
if they buy now their stocks have to go up. I wonder how that will work out for them.

Glass man its awful easy for you to say "just tax the rich" first those who make the laws rarely tax themselves. It is I who you are talking about. I am the one they keep going to the well for more money. explain to me why I have to cure all the worlds ill's? Why I have to pay for everyone? Why should I have to pay for you? Where is your compassion for me? I work extremely hard. I pay thousands in taxes every year. why do you feel you can take more from me? Or have some right to it? Why do you feel you are owed anything from anyone?

Bringing up NASA is funny, yet this president has spent BILLIONS of dollars on what? why didnt he give you some of that money? That maney was to be spent on our infrastructure. To create jobs....wait a minute...didnt Clinton raise the fuel tax to do the same things...what about bailing out wall street....it was supposed to ease the credit crunch...help buisness's get credit to invest and create jobs....yet unemployment goes up.

So what do we do. We award him the noble peace prize to give momenttum to all his good work.

He got the award to bolster his image. So that everyone who voted for him can say ...."See what a great man he is"
Bolster his approval rateing. It isnt for his accomlishments or any thing he will do in the future...its purely political.

His election motto was "CHANGE" someone tell me whats changed? A wise man once said you cant fix finacial problems by throwing more money at it. You have to "CHANGE" the way you do buisness. He has poured billions in some black hole none of us really understand and he wants to spend probably trillions more on a health care plan he says that will lower health care cost. But not until we spend billions.....huh?

I bet you voted for him didnt you glassman? Hows it working out for you so far? Do you really think your situation is gonna get better because he is in office? Do any of you think he is this country's salvation?

It's next to impossible to try to make sense of non-sense. It's not that I don't think that Obama should have gotten it, it's just that they just don't know how much ammo they just gave his opposition by giving him such an honor for practically nothing. I find this action not only idiotic but completely illogical, at least when Wilson and Teddy Roosevelt got it they had actually done something to promote peace, not just talked about it.

While I see Gunther's point about rewarding him in order to promote more good works, I honestly think this could have waited a couple of years so that maybe he would have something to point to which would help quiet his opponents. I know that there are those who would hate him if he saved the country and crapped out green gumdrops; however, the actions of the prize committee even gives moderates like myself pause, and for a president who keeps reminding people about the appearances of their actions, have we forgotten what he told the private jet riding car companies, I find it odd that his administration and the Democrats keep taking actions, and saying things, that really don't reflect on them well.

Blame can't be put on Obama for some of the pathetic missteps that have been taken by his supporters. His opposition keep blaming him for the actions of the Congressional Democrats, over zealous teachers using their students for Obama indoctrination, those who thought that Obama's guberment was going to pay all their bills, and now the Nobel Prize people who just don't have any idea when to let well enough along and stop giving the opposition fodder to attack this man with. Of course they didn't care they just wanted to snub the Bush administration, good job morons.

BTW I told you that by the end of the year his own liberal buddies would start turning on him in force, case in point the, very left wing, Saturday Night Live sketch from last weekend. It's starting to happen. I just saw an advertisement for PBSs Frontline entitled "Obama's War" about Afganistan, from the name I can gather that this won't be a love letter. I guess you can't please all of the people all the time, but it does help if you stay in one place long enough to actually do something instead of acting like the president of Chicago, and not the President of the United States.
