Hey I'm not saying he's the end all be all, just ten months in isn't enough time to judge his Presidency. No expected him to wave a wand and everything would be hearts and butterflies. If things aren't to my liking after four years he won't get a vote from me for a second round. At the very least he brought the image of the office up to dignified level. That's enough for now.
Actually Lobey you and I agree on something, ten months isn't really long enough to really get much done unless you happen to be the Christ child yourself especially in politics. Actually the problem is that some of those who voted for him expected just that, he would wave a wand and they would get their free money. That didn't happen, and because a lot of those people never paid any attention to politics until he came along they don't yet realize that this is just the way it goes, nothing really changes in Washington and anyone we send there are going to play the same political games. If he would just lay off of this "You do exactly what I want or else" mentality then I wouldn't have much of a problem with him, but you can't talk bi-partisanship out of one side of your mouth, and then bash those who don't follow your idea of it with the other. It's just illogical.
Wow, I'm drunk again and I think that point actually hurt coming out. LOL!
Did anyone catch the Obama skit at the front of Saturday Night Live this week, basically it was "I got the nobel prize for not being Bush." LOL!
