I have a bottle with a tear out of the label and the cap has seen better says but still has it's shape. There are no chips or cracks in the bottle. Could anyone give me an estimate on the value and year?

Welcome. It's very difficult to tell anything about the item you so briefly mention. Jamie is correct. We need photos, and a better description to be able to speak to it.

Are we talking about rye whiskey?
