I've been watching this seller for some time and it's really amazing how people can be fooled by the obvious. If you go through his sales, he's sold bottles EXACTLY the same as this for hundreds of dollars. All of the labels are aged the same, no rips, all the bottles are aged, and to top it off, he's sold multiple Ambers that are clearly dugs with thick fog and hase. Take a look at the bottom of the bottle at how thin the glass is. Almost like a 70's basic beer bottle or something[:-][8D]

Yeah I saw that bottle, shame. That looks like a tooled lip crown top, but certainly not a coca and certainly not the original label... Have you messaged him? I see that he's chosen his words fairly carefully to avoid speculation. He doesn't claim outright that the label is original but his/her price certainly suggests it. Pretty slimy if you ask me [8D]

Well I messaged him and here's the reply. Read from bottom up. I sent him another message asking if he would "guarantee" that the label belonged with that bottle and that no one slapped it on afterwards. That bottle looks dug to me. Cant get that type of haze any other way I reckon. [;)]

Dear...

This is NOT a dug bottle..."ALL OF MY ITEMS ARE "GUARANTEED AUTHENTIC" AS DESCRIBED AND CATAGORY LISTED"

Dear jstar2,

Couldn't help but notice your bottle and label don't go together. The bottle was dug and that label was slapped on afterwards.

Can you really stand by this guarantee?:

"ALL OF MY ITEMS ARE "GUARANTEED AUTHENTIC" AS DESCRIBED AND CATAGORY LISTED"

I'd hate to be be the poor kid who bought this bottle thinking it was actually "authentic" and worth a fraction of $150

It figures that I haven't heard back from him. Would anyone care to join me in reporting him? This kind of trickery has no place in the bottle collecting hobby. [>:]

I'd like to know where he stole this photo, I've seen it before somewhere...

All of the items listed as "Private" under feedback is a little strange. I sent in a report for counterfeiting.

I've had a few messages with him before. He doesn't seem like a "Bad" person, he is a little aggregated sounding in his messages however. Here's the links to the bottle sales. Take a look, it's just awful.

THESE ARE ALL DIFFERENT SALES:[:-]

The labels are all EXACTLY the same on every one. Like he scanned an aged label and printed high-quality prints to paste on. [][][]

Damn Shame... and he's making a killing off of them to boot. If those other auctions weren't already ended I would have reported every one. It may not get anywhere if he only received the one report of counterfeiting from me, please do the hobby a favor and report him on the one auction he still has going.

Oh and he blocked me from being able to contact him. I suppose thats his way of saying "Of course they're all authentic! And the label came out of the ground that way with the bottle!" Haha [;)]
