Hello anyone/everyone! I picked up this bottle while in the Navy and visiting Rio de Janeiro in 1993. I didn't know anything about it really or what it represents, only that it was unique - it must still be unique because I still can't find any information about it. Might there be someone who could shed some light as to the representations on each of the 3 sides and any other information?

Thanks in advance.

It may very well be simply a tourist piece. I was definitely a tourist at the time. Any intrinsic value or importance due to design or anything? Like I said, I bought it because it was really different sort of pagan/dark...

I can't tell what material was used for the outer sculpting. It looks like a fired clay or something. Here's another picture of another side. It has onyx and other stones all over it.

Third side. Sorry for the blurryness, I just quickly shot it with my Blackberry.

I have no idea what it is but it makes me think of Sun worship, the Sun like rays, the woman holding up the circle thing to the sky or Sun,the Sun like face and snakes also love the Sun.Crystals are used in Pagan ceremonies too.It is surely strange, different and a little creepy, but most tribal like motifs creep me out.Sort of Voo-Doo looking.I wonder if it held Rum?It would definitely be a great conversation piece.
