Streaks in Flask

Hi,
im trying to get a pic up of a flask that i have that has streaks running through it. I'll keep trying.

Finally!I got the pic up.This flask is a very darker amber than the pic shows,i brightened it up to show the streaks.

Eddie, when I was younger I had too much out of a flask and then I went streaking....Opps, save that for another time. lol Are the streaks within the glass or upon the surface? Is it in the pigmentation? I have some very crude bottles with black slag in them, but that doesn't appear to be what you have. Is the base pontiled? - Harry, is this a freeblown flask? Age?

Here is a free blown late 1700-1800 free blown chestnut, very similar... these flasks are really crude mine is paper thin is yours? Taz

Ed here is a amber paper thin free blown chestnut with pontil, this one is supposed to be from a Keene, N.H. glasshouse no streaks but lots of long bubbles! Taz

Thanks for the compliments on the bottle.Yes it is pontiled and the streaks are in the glass not on the surface.I have tracked this bottles history through past owners to at least before 1900.It was a family heirloom that kept getting pasted down through the generations i was told.
