In regards to procleaning, it is my opinion that it depends on the individual condition of the bottle. I personally like the Benicia type irridescence, but back in the day when dinosauers dug up bottles, we called the white, cruddy stains "sick" glass, and not the same reference sick is used by contemporary slang. I have had only about 5 pro cleaned and I think I made the right choice each time, though I am no big fan of it. Two came out a little too slick for my taste and one lost some ghosted embossing on the reverse. The others were just right and made a world of difference. Problem is, I start looking around at my other cruddy ones and begin thinking they would all benefit. I'm afraid it's like getting a tattoo, once started......Jack PS- awesome surf pic....grew up in Pismo Beach back in the day of Greg Noll, etc....brings back memories.
