There ya have it.These pits were void of mostly bottles. The pits had to be dipped heavy. We hate Honey Dippers! [8D] But soon or latter we will get a sloppy dipper!

We opened up another 10 foot stone liner today. Some keepers but not many.It was slim pickins. But I would rather dig an (older) privy with all broken stuff then a new pit or a new dump.Keep on digging!

Cool picture. Are you going to try gluing back some of the shards in post three?

Yeah Red we kept some stuff but most of it was to far gone.

Sometimes if I come away with a few cool pix im happy [:)]

Only the fittest, most adaptable species will move on to the next age.. ants, roaches, squirrels, sea gulls, and privy diggers.. the rest are doomed.. [8|]

Not unless it was the school gym where the Keene Show is held....[:D]

Rick,...Real valiant effort!,...I think everyone's been through that kind of dig,...(I know I have a time or 10)...I like that Case Gin/Schnappes.....Way to keep hanging in....after all, that's how you earned the puce flask...

Looks like fun at least! What's the scarcity like on those Duttons bottles? Just started collecting locals from New Bruns and I'd be interested in obtaining duttons at some point.

Well, at least there are two more stonies that you won't have to wonder about what's in them. You'll get a good one again soon, SickRick the pit slayer never rests!

Rob and I finally got one lined up to dig, we just have to make time for it. We're doing some serious remodeling/restoration on my house, and it has been eating up all of our free time. It's time to dig a pit and take a break from the construction madness. ~Jim
