A ridiculously warm Sunday morning in December with no dig scheduled...what to do? Decided to head back to the beach & see what surfaced since the ice carried all the summer silt away. Hard to believe the rural looking path to the beach below was a hard core urban industrial zone as recently as the 1980's, nature always wins in the end...

First bottle spotted, early milk... Alas, a few weeks to late to save this one, a victim of freezing from the recent cold snap...

Sort of an interesting looking lid. Alas, it was broken, just a hunk of blue decorated crock lid...

What appears to be two early milks showing, one center bottom and one just above the brick center top - but are they whole?
