Last photo for now, crude yelloware mug and a child size chamber pot. About two feet of 1840's - 50's layer in Salem - sure surprised me!

That stuff went together better than I thought. The mug is killer. Great dig for a town that has lots of empty holes.

The Cattell's are very hard to find. Almost all of them are headless. I was glad to get this example to put with my mineral water collection. something is better than nothing.. Complete whole bottles are always nice. but considering they were thrown down a hole ice picked to open them up etc.. Damage doesn't bother me.. Plus I dug them not six miles from my house... in a town you can dig for days and find nothing..

Big honker 'outie' pontil on the Jaynes, makes it rather unbalanced!

Love the way the glass looks on the Jaynes.

Nice digs guys! That cattells is a bummer!! But cool to have a broken example at least for now. is that other mineral waters whole? couldnt tell from the picture. Love that mocha bowl with the eye pattern! Decent glue backs in this pit.
