To clean or Not to clean...

Found this one a couple of months ago. All of the barnacles died and I had forgotten about the bottle being outside in the garage... whoops...[:'(] Anyway, it's outside now and it doesn't smell all that bad, not to me anyway. The wife says clean it or throw it away... Hmmmm...[&:]

Level 5 douching with concentrated industrial cleaner---> ADVISED.

Hey Warren... long time since we chatted. I haven't forgotten about you, I been lurking in the shadows...[]

Had a tough year, but we got through it. Worked a lot and didn't get a whole heck of a lot of bottle diving in. Plan on doing a whole bunch in 09... lqong as I make enough money to pay the bills, wife says I can go bottle diving anytime I want. I think maybe she said "anywhere" I want (my hearing is not what it used to be)[]

Anyway, I'll be checking in on the forum every evening. or so... I'll get some new photos up here so you can follow up on what I've been doing.

Hey Rhona... MAtt...

You have to keep a sharp eye out for the shapes. The bottles are lying amoungst rocks, shells, bottles (uncollectables! that is) and other sea creatures, when you see it and turn it over a few times, then you know what you have. I try to bring as many up as I can fit into the goodie bag. A lot of common stuff down there you have to paw through.

Good hearing from you too bud. I don't worry too much about folks forgettin me once they have meet me. Been kinda busy round here too. Keeping up with my old people has gotten to be quite a job. Cindy is doing good keeping up with the new grandson. He's a pip. Here is a pic at 7mo with mommy and big brother.
