to dip or not to dip

dont know if i should dip this in hydroflouric to remove the shine or not . what do yall think . bimal large bromo .

lots of character ,but most people prefer cobalt to be shiny . its the largest one i have dug so far

I prefer it as is; beyond a bromo.. it looks important in it's present condition...!

I USUALLY GO FOR MORE MINT,BUT IN THIS CASE LIKE CHARLIE SAID IT IS A BROMO AND I LOVE THE LOOK OF IT! JAMIE

Never use hydrofluoric acid on the outside of bottles. It is used in industry to etch glass and it will eat into
even the tiniest scratches on your bottle and make it look frosty. It only works well on bottle insides.

Hi Suzanne..
I used the acid on both the out side and inside before with out any Ill effects.Does it depend on the strength?
