Hi Folks,
BEER!
I found this bottle today in my usual place. I had been finding some newer bottles (1940s) but this one appears (to me – but what do I know) to be older. The glass is somewhat wavy and there are trapped air bubbles in it. The seam stops at the neck.
I’m posting this in the pre-1900 forum, but perhaps that is just wishful thinking.
Obviously, this is an Schlitz bottle. Above the brand name is embossed ‘HOHMAN & BARLETT’ and below is ‘MANCHESTER, N.H.’.
Above this is the word ‘REGISTERED’.
The bottom of the bottle is embossed with the number ‘32’.
Any information, especially age, would be appreciated?
Thanks,
Batfish
