Dug this glass mug out of the ground. I think it's a toothpick holder. Saw the exact same thing at the antique mall, they were selling for 4$ or in yellow for 4.50$. A place on the web says the yellow ones are rare. I know where to get about 10 of them for 4.50$.

(hopefully the attahcment works...)

You young whippersnappers might not recognize this but I believe it is an A. & W. Root Beer baby mug. When my Wife and I were newly married and our first Daughter just a toddler back in about 1963 - 64 our big night out was on payday (twice a month) when we would go to the A. & W. for a single hamburger and mug of root beer each. They would give us a small amount of Root Beer in a tiny mug for the toddler. I can still recall the night I got a raise after working for Ma Bell for two years and was able to buy French Fries with the meal. Them's was the Good Old Days.
