Dug today up north with Joel, dug through alot of ABMs and screw tops, but managed to get a nice group of stuff to bring home. More importantly a fun day digging.
First pic is of really cool Wedgewood china piece. It's a small bowl. I dug the bowl, then a few minutes later got the lid, and then took out a center piece that sits inside the bowl. It is a strainer piece, like you could set fruit inside, and keep it up away from the juice so it doesn't get soggy. Not sure.
Couldn't believe it was whole.

Here is most of what I got today. The strainer wedgewood bowl, a bean pot, a pie dish, about 6 local druggists, a few others. Also got a cobalt Bennington marble, but I gave it to the property owner during my conversation with her. She was pretty clueless, and couldn't care less if we were down in the mucky stream digging bottles. She sure liked the marble though!

Also in that last picture was a nice Bowkers poison crock, a cool yellow pottery insulator that was a different looking one, a couple of local crown top sodas, and a half gallon mason. This pic is of a broken bottle I got after Joel left for the day. It was in amongst screw top clear bottles, broken in place... a pontilled gin, probably 1820 or so! Had to be a late throw, as there were no other old shards around it.

Here is the Lockport Gargling oil I dug last week. It is really crude, I was psyched to dig it, believe me. Just thought you all might like to see some freshly dug stuff, from regular old dumps...
Good luck diggin!

Yes Bram, it was a good time, glad to see you got a few more goodies after I left.

Here are my meager finds for the day.
