Hi yall, this bottle is 4" tall with a base diameter of 2 1/8". It has no embossment but is a very beautiful dark amythyst. It dates 1870's to 1890. I am wondering if this is a medicine (like so many I have pulled from this pit), or a utility? What were some of the contents kept in a utilty bottle? Thanks for any help, Kelley
