    Tumbling with plastic pellets

That's next if these don't work. They seem to be doing the job but at a slower rate. I only use half the water so they don't start to float when the cylinder is upright.

    Tumbling with plastic pellets

I had a amber whiskey bottle in 1500 grit for 6 days. It looks like it could go another 6 days. It looked like it was about half way done. The only reason I'm experimenting with it is that a 5" or 6" cannister filled with copper gets pretty heavy.

    Tumbling with plastic pellets

Can anyone tell me if tumbling using plastic pellets requires more time in the tumbler than using copper. Thanks in advance for any help.

    Confused?

Sounds to me like you found a dump site. Like most dumps, most of the bottles are broken from being tossed on top of each other along with other debris. Keep digging. There are always a few that survive. Be careful that you don't break the precious few that survived.

    Lomax

No Road Dog, it's not pontiled. The guy I bought it from is near Chicago, and said they were hard to come by.

    information on jars please

Ron, Try looking under Fruit Jars, as that's what canning jars are referred to in collector circles. Sorry I can't be more help.

    atlas e-z seal

rwe, Kovel's Bottle Price List has Atlas Ez seals listed from $2.00 to $28.00 and one version at $300.00. That's their 11th edition so they have probably changed abit.

    Lomax

Road Dog, It's in the tumbler right now, so I don't have pics yet. It looks identical to the cobalt J.A.L. you have, but its a green color. Like a teal. As soon as it's done, I'll post pics. By the way, I assume J.A.L is Lomax. Is that correct? Thanks for your help.

    Message For Bottle tumbler

Rick, I tumbled the bottle with the epoxied top and it came out alright. However, there was a hole in the neck just below the blob top that had been epoxied and I didn't notice it. As you said, the tumbling took out the epoxy and exposed the hole and I think a few more hours would have been...
