Several recent posts mention O-Kola and a couple of towns where it was bottled. I just found the trademark registration in the archives.

was O-KOLA and O-COLA the same drink? A copy-cat of a copy-cat?

They were both in Ohio around the same time. My guess is the Cincinnati firm succeeded the other. They may have decided the K made it less likely they would be sued by Coca-Cola.
