WTT Jung Br'g Co. Mineral Water Dept. Hutch (Cincinnati Ohio)

Looking to trade a hutch that I dug recently. It's from the Jung Brewing Company of Cincinnati Ohio Mineral Mineral Water Department. Decent dug condition, no cracks, chips, etc. Does have some frosting on the glass. Could probably stand to be cleaned a bit more. This hutch does not have...

    Tom Collins Jr. Cincinatti OH

Found this neat ACL while out exploring around town today. As best I can tell it's from the late 1950's, but I can't find much about it. Pictures below.

    Jamestown New York Digging

Any New York diggers know of any good spots to dig in or around Jamestown? I'm being re-located up there for six weeks starting in January and it would be great to meet some diggers up there to pass time on the weekends. Thanks, John

    Purple Pepper Sauce

I Think this is after 1900, but it may have been a late throw in with some 20's stuff. Dug this out of a brick lined privy today. Has anyone found one before and have any information about it? (Brand, origin, date, etc) Thanks!

Well, I took a weekend off from digging mostly to get some school work done, but it turned into a road trip to indulge my gun hobby. A Colt 1903 Type 3 made in 1920 There's just something about a classic colt automatic pistol that gives me a warm fuzzy feeling. Traded my Beretta 96D...

    Red Rock BIM Bottle

Here are a couple of Red Rock Bottling Company bottles from here local in Knoxville. The One on the right is newer, it's machine made, but recently I found the one on the left that's BIM and the "this bottle never sold" warning is at the base instead of up toward the top. Also, the crown is a...

    Impromptu Demolished House Dig

In one of the older neighborhoods in town, one of the houses was demolished and dug down about 3 or 4 feet. From the road I could see glass shards all over the pit. Once in the hole, it became apparent that this was a TOC Dump. It was very ashy, and the walls of the pit were unstable, but all...

Juicy Fruit, 7up, and RC Cola Help?

Hey everybody! A few of the latest dump finds I thought I would share. I was also hoping you guys might have some advice on cleaning these bottles too because I'm really new to ACL bottles and I don't want to destroy them. I've heard early ACL bottles up in to the 60's aren't done very well...

    New Digging Site Finds

Hey Everybody! Explored a new dig site this past weekend, and came up with a few things that I'm sure are pre-1900. I've seen a few things about the machine oil bottle, but the sources seem conflicted on the exact time frame of the bottle. Some say 1870's some say 1890's. I trust you guys to...

    Weekend Digging Report

Still digging in the same 1900-1920 dump as for we have been for the last 5 months, but we've finally found a decent layer of bottles. Lots of local medicine bottles, as well as abstract local sodas. We've also found a huge amount of generic amber chemical/medicine bottles. Check out the...

    Trench Digging Heroin Find

Continuing on in the dump that we've been working for the last 4 months, we ran into a pocket of pharmacy bottles. You may have seen Madman's post about the Emerald Green Economy KI-2 poison bottle. There have been a lot of local pharms coming out of the hole as well as some not so local. A few...

    Evening Dig, found a KT-8

Well, I went out for some late afternoon digging yesterday. I could see a little bit down in the hole, but not too well. I pulled out my phone flashlight and right at the bottom in the clay was an amber poison bottle. I thought it might have been a KV-1, but then I noticed it had a triangular...

Unexpected 40's Dump Finds - Double Grape and Ward's

Construction crew got into the main section of my 40's dump here in Knoxville. So where I was one-at-a-timing bottles out of this layer, they just started moving massive amounts of earth and with it came the bottles! Yesterday, I hopped down into the hole they dug (probably 15 feet deep) and...

Deep Dump Digging and Coca Cola Galore

Went out digging with Madman and Paul (forum name unknown) today and came up with some interesting finds. About five to six feet down in the hole, we hit a layer of busted up coke bottles bunches of 1915's, and brown cokes (arrow shoulder script, base script, base and shoulder script) that...

    Found Some Acids today

Was poking around the University today where they were doing some trenching, and I found these Acid bottles. Most of them were the "Con Acid Nitric" bottles (Eight of them), but there was also a Hydrochloric and Sulphuric bottle in the mix. Most had stoppers. They look to be blown glass.
