How many diggers sift? When I did most of my digging, we didn't know about that idea. In fact we didn't know much- just that we were finding old bottles that were worth packing home. Can't wait to get time to get back into it. Grandpa's dump hollow is my next target.

Great pics. That thing looks huge. Can you describe the "inside"? The center hole in relation to the small front hole. Is it partially enclosed, 'cellar-like" or just the round opening with a 'tube' to it? Kiln fits but, it seems like the walls may be over kill in thickness if that is the case.

Is that a green certo in the top photo? Seems I hear about green certos on here often. My certos are all brown. I've found 4-5 in my boxes so far. Would the colors be a regional thing?
