    Special Interests Map Listing

I was contacted recently about a new service on line. They map out stores/shops by interests. I had them add a Chair Caning Category for our business. I don't sell my bottles but for those who do, if you would contact them they will add a bottle collecting/selling category. The service is...

    Cleaning Bottle Insides

I have frequently used fish bowl gravel or small round 'pea' gravel. Works great and doesn't scratch.

    Sifting/sifters

How many diggers sift? When I did most of my digging, we didn't know about that idea. In fact we didn't know much- just that we were finding old bottles that were worth packing home. Can't wait to get time to get back into it. Grandpa's dump hollow is my next target. Doug

A dedicated digger you are. Was through your area a few years ago on my way to Santa Claus/Holiday World. We passed a wonderful cavern. Meant to get back but never made it yet. Good luck diggin.

Anyone have a idea of what this structure is?

Great pics. That thing looks huge. Can you describe the "inside"? The center hole in relation to the small front hole. Is it partially enclosed, 'cellar-like" or just the round opening with a 'tube' to it? Kiln fits but, it seems like the walls may be over kill in thickness if that is the case.

    Pre-1900 Land Fills

Lisa, Most of the dumps we dug were found by walking roads that were present during that time period- although we were kids and actually playing or exploring. They may have only been dirt paths then. Specially if they are on the side of a hill or bank. Try walking half way down the bank of...

    I'm digging again

Is that a green certo in the top photo? Seems I hear about green certos on here often. My certos are all brown. I've found 4-5 in my boxes so far. Would the colors be a regional thing?
