Am I collecting bottles or just prick up trash?

I’m a new bottle collector or at least I think am? I may just be collecting worthless glass? This is my first post although I’ve been stalking for a few months, While I learn. Can anyone please look at some of the things I’ve found and give me an overall opinion on what I’m finding? Have I found anything even considered decent??? Anything older than 1900?? Everything is from the same area and from what I’ve been able to research, spans over many many many years. I’d love to know if any of this is interesting and worth extra time and further exploration. Sorry I’m advance for all the pictures, hopefully you’ll enjoy them,

Welcome to the forum! I definitely wouldn't consider them all trash, there are plenty there that I'd take home if I found them too. Granted, a bunch of them I'd also never bring home, like the Clorox jugs or those big gallon containers, because they're extremely common and take up way too much space. Usually any ABM bottle without embossing isn't really worth bringing home unless it'll look really nice in a window for some reason. But I'll bring home most BIM bottles I find, especially if they're embossed, as well as ABM bottles with interesting embossing. That tobacco jar is quite interesting, I've never seen one like that before and I'm wondering what that slot on the base is for.

Thank you! Not sure about the slot either? I believe it’s from a company called old dominion tobacco and was made in the 30’s. Some of the bottles are hard to get any information on? My friends ironically like the Clorox bottles and the jugs. I guess we all know what they are getting for birthdays and holidays for a while I appreciate you taking the time to look at the pictures and giving me your opinion.
