Tried a Little magnet fishing.
Glad I didn't get an expensive package. It's fun doing it until you get stuck which I am now. Could be a tough one to get out. So far I've had to use a come along and grappling hook
Might have to use a boat to get it this time.

It's not that simple, there's no way to get in and out it's all jagged limestone and drops off very quickly. It's probably 8:10 ft down and did I mention I'm in Chicago , The water is extremely cold still.

I could handle a lot more than that is it worth it for a $50 magnet

That better be a huge double sided 1000+lb magnet for $50!

Triple sided1300 lbs it can pull a shopping cart out but that's not anything that big I would like to get the beast $300 one pulls a motorcycle out but then I would have to jump in the water freezing cold or not. Another problem is when it gets stuck on a bridge like that you need a come along to get it off.

The beast will pick up coins too, most have some metal in it.

Just don't want to get your finger caught between that and the metal bridge

I really have toyed with the notion of getting into this stuff. But I don't even have time for current hobbies. With my luck, it would get stuck or forever lost on day 1.
