In my travels I come across all kinds of stuff that lead me to bottles.
Below are a couple of ads, just put them up for interest, but the disasters can lead to some major finds.
Just ask "southern Maine diver" the sea ship wrecks listed here can be the start of of the journey to bottle finds.
But also the fires that destroyed homes, stores and warehouses, find out if they were rebuilt,if not where were they located & are they now vacant lots.
The disasters below are only for 1873-4, theres lots of old newspapers & Almanacs out there, search them out, and they'll give you a wealth of infomation for finding bottles, crocks, privys and dumps.
