A book I have used for many years to help ID bottles and year it is from has been 'Bottle Makers and Their Marks' by Julian Harrison Toulouse. But, it had been out of print and copies were going for over $200 on ebay! Well-don't go to ebay for it now! It has been reprinted by The Blackburn Press, New Jersey. 624 pages of just about every makers mark you will see on just about any kind of bottle. has drawings of marks, company history and years that mark was used. GREAT BOOK! A must have for any collector!!

Yes that is a great book, I used to check it out at library, but somebody stole it. Anyway I did make a lot of notes from it. About ten years back it sold for $25.00 plus shipping.
