Great pictures, Swiz and son. The dead bird is so sad. But, the baby eagle is really cute. Great close-up shots. Did you end up finding any arrowheads? Looks like a nice trip!

My town was flooded for a reservoir in the late 1800's. They never said what happened to the cemeteries or anything. I used to love going there as a kid and finding pottery pieces and fishing with my mom and grandfather. If I could go back, I'd be looking for some bottles. My grandfather and uncle used to go fishing there a lot. When the water was low, they said you could see the tops of houses.

Thanx everyone. It was quite an adventure. We are hoping that we'll be able to see the Eagles release and maybe even get to name him. There was talks about our troop possibly doing a fund raiser if necessary to rehab the great bird. Well I'm still recouping from the trip and already planning next weeks family trip. Weather permitting. Good night everyone and if I missed any replies I'll get ya tomorrow after work. Swiz

In the days and weeks to come the caskets were popping up out of the waterlogged ground. There's a lot of stories of the valley flooding.

[:D] Yes,....this one comes to mind from my all time favorite movie,.."Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?"[:D]
