found this gun while metal detecting. at first hoped it was a boot gun or derringer. Its solid metal though so i believe it was a toy.

Coolest metal thing I ever found diggin for bots is this Civil War belt buckle. Even cooler is that the owner of the foundation I dug it at, Griffith G. Ellis - was a known Civil War veteran, and there's an 1870 town band picture in our local history book "The River and The Ridge" with him in it. I've been able to locate his grave, but have yet to get a hold of his service record.

i couldn't decide whice was best...so...one's a dog collar "minnie Sergt frost R.A."(royal artillary)
cool bronze/brass fist found in an area from early 1800's
cross was id'd as priest or nun's rosary bead..1550-1650..
and brass plate from the HMS EXETER "caution no weights to be placed on this locker, clips stowed in gunners after store"
