WHATS UP HUNTER,I USUALLY KEEP THE SPOONS,FORKS ETC ALSO AS FAR AS RECOGNIZING PEWTER YOU KIND OF JUST RECOGNIZE THE WAY THEY LOOK .MOST OF THE PEWTER I'VE FOUND THROUGH THE YEARS IS ALMOST ALWAYS BROKEN.JUST FINDING WHOLE PIECES IS KIND OF RARE,THATS WHY I THINK RICKS PEWTER BABY SPOON IS A COOL FIND EVEN MORE RARE BECAUSE OF IT BEING A KIDS SPOON.THE SILVER USUALLY STANDS OUT BECAUSE ALOT OF TIMES IT STAYS SHINY BUT IT WILL ALSO TURN BLACK AND BE HARDER TO SPOT.BUT WITH SILVER THE SOUND IT MAKES WHEN YOU DROP IT ON A TABLE IS UNMISTAKABLE.
