Went to a garage sale today and found some neat pepsi stuff. I grabbed 3 double dot 8oz Dossin's bottles from Grand Rapids and one Single dot. They were $1 each, so I knew it was worth it. These carriers on the other hand I wasn't so sure about. They were asking $75 for the wooden one and $50 for the metal one (which includes a double dot bottle opener). I talked her down to $75 for the pair. Did I make a good buy? What are these worth? The wooden one is pretty much perfect, but the metal one is a little rusty and I'm not sure if it used to have red paint or not.

Hello mgardziella , my 1990 Pepsi book lists your wood carton at $65.00 and the metal one lists at $25.00 . I have not seen one of the wood cartons sell , but the metal ones used to bring around forty in my area , but now they will bring around twenty five , or at least that is what I see them sell for . As for the metal carton , the embossed letters were painted red . Hope this helps , Lou

If you went to Ebay you would pay around $75 for the pair. Would cost close to $100 in an antique shop.

Thanks for the replies. Seems I paid exactly or just under the value. No grand bargain but not a rip-off. At least I finally found something worthwhile at a garage sale!
