Hey Digs, we have used a contract like that to get onto construction sites. Most of the time, it isn't needed. Health Insurance is one of the best ways to assure a property owner that you are covered. A simple form which states that you are there at your own risk and will not hold the owners responsible for any injuries, loss, or damages. It also helps to agree that you will only be on the property when they aren't working.
Thanks Doug! I haven't been digging much over the past year or so. Only dug a handfull of privies in 09. Hope to get back out and tear it up this year, but it's getting harder and harder to come up with new spots to dig around here.
