I was staying at a rented house on the cape this past week, and found a few bottles poking up through the grass near a tree. It seems this house is built on an old farm's dump, and as the tree grew, it pushed the bottles up out of the sand through the grass. I can't believe nobody hit them with a mower! This is the first one, it is clear, about 2" wide at the base, just over 5" tall. Looks like a soda bottle, just miniature! There are bubbles in the glass, but no markings at all. The seam runs up both sides through the rim. Anyone have any idea what this could be?
