Finally got out for a proper bottle hunt today. Found a little tip near a creek didn’t have any tools with me but picked these 2 Morgantown cokes up and judging by the large amounts of broken quart milks there may be some good stuff. Any idea on the little White House lid thing?

I'd guess and say (without consulting the "Red Book") that Codd's are canning jars. (If it contained the classic liquid then why the glass inserts?) Additionally, I have just picked up an old White House vinegar bottle. It has a pour spout. (It also has a long dead mouse inside. --A fairly common occurrence. He is very intact and seems to like the BOLD embossment. If I keep the bot I'll have to name him. Hmmm. ;)
