Hey there, Nice gets. I too am blown away by how many bottles you come up with from Paterson. It does indeed pay, to get your name out there, and advertise. I like your new cards. Those new finds are all nice . specially the last "Blutch" with the diamond embossing. It would seem you do alot of leg work, glad it pays off for you. Are you coming up to the Albany N.Y. show two weekends from now? would be good to see you. Digginfortogas- Randy, pharmboy-Tod, and myself botlenut-Mark will be there. would be cool to see ya.
I think I will be coming up, charging battery to take pics of the 'pints', thanks for the kind words...[;)]

This is one I was STOKED about, I have 7 other dates but not one dated 1897, a great addition indeed...

I already had a 1897 Spreitzer so when I saw one come out of the box I knew I had a good trader/seller/upgrade, then three bottles later I pulled out another and knew something was different!! As you can see the one on the right which I already have has larger embossing, but the new one on the left is similar to all the earlier examples, so I may have discovered they year that a knew mold was made for whatever reason. I'll keep the better of the two large embossed examples and send the other to my buddy Dennis in Missouri who needs it for his run...

The great thing about Spreitzer, besides dating his hutches every year, is the embossed eagle/dove on the back. I say eagle/dove because the earlier versions have an eagle body but the head is rounded and looks like a dove, but as you can see here the large letter version has a distinctly different embossed eagle. The head of the bird is clearly different and the legs are also different, I'm really happy to find this different mold...

This Schadegg is the other Paterson hutch with the parallelogram, making him the third to use it, along with Boyle and Boylan & Sturr... The back is embossed with his initials and what appears to be a very old style seltzer bottle, this is a very hard bottle to come by, and I'm happpy to finally have one, it's only the second I've ever seen...

Here's a strange thing about one of the 'pint' hutches, I'm thinking it was a long bubble that ran the length of the bottle from the base right up to the neck. I figure it may have been hit when it was made or by a probe or the potato rake when it was dug and the glass just peeled away up the entire piece. It is not sharp anywhere along the whole run, it's also directional from top to bottom and makes it right over the shoulder of the hutch, any thoughts on it are welcome...
