Help Identifying Spring Bevereage Co. bottle

Hi everyone -
I have this bottle that I found in an area that I had been digging up some crown top soda bottles, but noticed that this had a different looking lip and mouth on this. I am wondering if you could help me. Is this still considered a crown top? Also, does anyone know the history of this bottling company? The front of the bottle has an embossed Spring Beverage Co. rainbowed over the top of a picture that looks like a tulip with leaves. Under it, it has the address 2078 Ogden Ave.

Chicago, Ill. - rainbowed upwards under all the other information.

on the bottom of the bottle, it looks like the diamond shape, with a dot in the center and under that, it has a number 1.

I tried to do some research, but am coming up with no results on my own. Could anyone give me any information about this bottle? I also have one that is in that aquamarine colored clear glass too.

Does anyone know how much one of these would sell for?

That's what is known as a Priof (pry off) lip, someone decided to try to make the better crown top, and this was it.

I know Ogden Ave doesn't exist anymore. They closed it and re-routed it. The city then put up Housing Projects and that area is now known as Cabrini-Green. Nothing yet about your bottle..

Here's an ebay auction I found...if you read the description it says that the silver spring soda was manufactured at the spring beverage co. chicago.

Thank you so much everyone! This really helps. I think I am going to try to sell one on e-bay and see how much I can get for it. Perhaps someone there will have more information too. I will keep you posted when I put it up for auction...hopefully this weekend.
