Yeah Bennigans was the first word in my head when I saw this collection.. there was a guy at the flea market who had a small box with around 25 blues and browns, asking $40 for the box.. I was really tempted but I just can't get into marbles.. so I think they are worth something...

Well I am 6,2 Chuck so they only fell from 8 feet or a foot and a half into my head.You know what else was up there a pair of Red Ryder gloves,Cowboy hat and amo and ...........................no gun Ralphy youll get a football instead.Honest I did find all of the above but the rifle of course. I did go out to an antique store in Mullica Hill found one and gave it to my policeman brother-inlaw who is lady gaga over this movie.
He went out to Cleveland and saw the playground,Ralphys house,school,Chineese restaurant ect. and came back with a LEG LAMP It must be Italian ? It says FRA-GI-LE.The glossy ones are heavy comparitivley.YOULL SHOOT YOURE EYE OUT KID!![:D]

..maybe you should put up an ad in the other forums.. I'd hate to think our best marble people are spending the evening in "Digging and Finding" or something..

Steve,..I'm sure Road Dog will be around soon,...He seems to be learned in the ways of marbles....There's also a site,...Land of Marbles,...but I get kinda crosseyed looking on there...[;)]

The glazed ones with the eyes are Benningtons as mentioned. The "Fancy" ones are the best of them. They are the multi-colored ones. Blue and Brown are most common colors. They also come in Green, Black and White. The Fancy types with Pink are the most valuable if you can find them. Benningtons are less common in the 1" to 1 1/2" and harder to find over 1 1/2". The other marbles I see you have are Clays and Dyed Clays. They are old.
