J&IEM Sheared-Lip Turtle Ink

Can anyone tell me what the letters stood for? Location of the maufacturer? Other?

J and IE Moore of Warren Massachusetts...Moore's Excelsior School Writing Ink...was one label known to be on these. Some have a PATd. Oct 31, 1865...but it is believed this applied to the ink and not the bottle shape...as the bottle is known with but the initials and was also made before the Patent Date...
