This is one the wife found havent seen this one before. It has a Triangle on the front with "A" in the center. Under this is the word "Milk".On the back it has the number 3 and made in japan. It is 2 3/4"tall 1 1/2" wide and 3/4 thick.

Any info on what it is and what it may be worth

RE: Milk glass snuff??

That's interesting, I've got one like yours but mine is clear/aqua and without "MILK" on the back. I thought mine was Australian but hopefully someone will know for sure, there where a lot of bottles made in Japan for Aussie companys around 1900-WW1.
I'll take a photo of mine tomorrow and post it.

RE: Milk glass snuff??

Hi digginbot247, and welcome to the forum. Your bottle was made for a doll, so the little girls could "feed" their baby.

RE: Milk glass snuff??

I guess it could be baby bottle but the shape is much like a snuff bottle. I tried to take better picture used some crayon on the embossing.

Once again thanks for the feed back

Early baby bottles were flask shaped (ovoid)...especially the English variations.
I've seen this mini-nurser before and other similar ones in clear glass that were actually Candy Containers...glass toys for the tots.

I have the milk glass "milk" bottle too. I don't think it's really worth anything, but for a while I thought I had something.
