Hello, I'm new to the bottle community and was wondering if anyone knew anything about this bottle.
It has an iron pontil mark on the bottom and has a triangular shape. It also says patented 5869 on the side.
It almost seems that that should mean 1869. Also an estimate would be nice. Anyways, here's some pictures!

Its a fairly Common Baltimore Bitters In good condition such as yours they usually hit about $250 on ebay. They used to bring more a few years ago. But Quite a few have shown up on the market lately.

I agree with Chris !
A few years back they were bringing in the 400.00 range. But , like Chris said ....... quite of few have surfaced here in the last year or two.

Hi, Your bottle dates 1880-1890. In 2005 there were only 2 known examples & the estimate at that time was $1400. Unfortunately if more have shown up the price will go down.

Hey Georgia Peach .... where did you get this information ?
I believe you might be refering to the sample ( 5 1/8" tall )which is extremely rare . And not the common 12 3/8" tall variant which is pictured.
