It's still now put back together completely, I think you can get the idea [;)]

"restoration"
I guess that's a very loose term? If that's the same machine it doesn't even look like a renovation to me.
I liked it better before. What happened to the inside and the name plate and why did you paint it that awful color?
I'm not dissin' you. I guess I just like old and beat rather that "looks like a repro"

Yup, 99% of the value is lost and the cost of the "restoration" makes it negative whatever on top of that.
Do you at least still have the parts? It was a nice looking Carnival before. Or is that Carosel? Whatever, it was nice,

It's going to be displayed next to a bunch of signs that are the same red color, I wonder this piece to stand out more [8|]

If the machine is of any age and depending on the condition (poor)? then (yes) restore it!--you don't loose value --you increase it![:)]. I restore old gumball machines as a hobby. If I get 1 in bad condition it goes in for surgery[;)].With gumball --candy machines it's the Name on it that tells you what to do with it.~~Fred

I would call it a renovation rather than a restoration but it looks like a good job.
Show a photo after its all put back together.

I guess I agree that if it's not of historic value, if you just like it and want to use it, it looks fine. However, serious collectors would want it original. I think it looks decent. Hopefully, you can get the insides back together so that it dispenses candy again.
