I wouldn't say you paid too much ! That's an extremely rare mold variant.... and who knows when another will come up for sale. I just got my first bottle from Rod's auction the other day... A nice colored Indian Queen ( Brown's Celebrated ). I'm very happy with the bottle . A little slow on the shipping , but a great bottle that was worth the wait !
We do real well here with cut bait ( Shad) for the big Cats ! My Father in law got a nice 5 pound smallmouth earlier this year on his ultra light rod with 4 pound test. A real fighter ! We were Crappie fishing and the smallmouth was a real suprise .
