Here's another one that I can't seem to find any info on. I know it's after prohibition because it's a "federal law" stamped bottle. It has a ships wheel on the front, rope like border around the front and back of the bottle, metal screw on top and the bottom has R-174 and 55-40 as well as the pattent applied for words. My questions:What came in this bottle? When was it made?Does it have any value, if so estimate.
Ok racemaster, I see this didn't go very far. Are there seams on the finish? If there are not - that can mean it could be interesting. I couldn't tell from the picture. If you are in bottle collecting send me a email and I will send you some information I have for newbies - that explains cwhat we look for. RED Matthews <bottlemysteriesyahoo.net>
Yes, it has the mold seam all the way up to the top, sorry I forgot to mention that part. I'm trying to do some research before bothering you guys with questions. I've identified most of the ones I have and dated them as reasonably as I could. There are still a few odd shaped ones I will post. thanks again
