Hey i just found out that this old jug that we have had for the past 10 years is actually a bottle and it has embossing on it. Here is a picture of it the embossing is upside down on the bottle.

here is the picture of one of the seams on it, it cuts off before the bottom of the neck

here is a picture of the embossing on it. on it is says, JACSON LITHIA McELROY SPRING WATER TEL 2190 KANSAS CIT,MO. Any info on the age and how much it is worth would be very helpful

Also, that white thing in the middle isn't a scratch it is a little bit of white paint. The bottle is a little bit over 20 inches tall

I think glass jugs are a subset of bottles in general whether its embossed or not. We dont discriminate. Now fruit jars ... those are a different "inferior" breed []

ok, i would like to no the value and how old it is worth.

Judging from the phone number format it was made between WWI and WWII (1920s-1940s)

But i thought if the seams running up the bottle cut off early that means that it is pre 1900
