Here's the bottom embossing, can anybody tell the date and value?

Looks like the monogram for E. S. Burnham, whose product was Beef Wine and Iron, probably late 1890's

Just an earlier variation of the E J Burke bottles...you know - the olive green ones with a cat embossed on the base...Supposedly a bitters...or ginger beer...
Value is less than $10 [&:]

Here's a picture of the well known Burnham's I was referring to. As you can see, the monogram is identical.

I used to dig in this one area that produced a lot of fragments of these, so it seemed really familiar. I checked in Baldwin's book and there it was. Maybe Gunth knows more about the history and product line. I think Whiskeyman is right about value.

It was one of many liquid food tonics made at the end of the 19th century.
Used to feed the sick and feeble.
